About Us
We are a Greenlandic couple who enjoy meeting new people and creating a warm, welcoming place to stay.
In our small Skansen home, we want our guests to feel comfortable and at home—whether they are visiting for a holiday or travelling for work.
We also love getting out into nature, and when it fits, we are happy to share local experiences and small outings with our guests. With us, you’ll find a relaxed atmosphere, genuine hospitality, and a peaceful base in beautiful Greenland.
Skansen House has its own story. Linda’s grandmother comes from the former settlement of Skansen, and that is why we named the house “Skansen.” The settlement of Skansen was closed in the 1960s, and many families who moved to Qeqertarsuaq stayed here first—before they were able to move into their new homes.
Today, we are proud to keep that history alive by welcoming guests into a place that has long been connected to new beginnings and community.
